3. When will I know if I've been admitted?
Rutgers now uses a rolling admissions program, so you can apply for early admission anytime of the year. Candidates who do not qualify for early admission still receive full consideration, and they will be notified in July for the fall term and in September for the winter term.

Since 1961, the Rutgers Professional Golf CourseTurf Management Program has been one of the most respected certificate programs in the country.

The average salary of a golf course superintendent with a two-year certificate was $65,560 in 2003. That is $15,470 per year more than superintendents without any college-level education. For a 2006 graduate who works for 30 years with annual raises of only 4%, that translates to almost $900,000 in lifetime earnings.

6. What kind of job can I expect?
Rutgers graduates manage some of the top golf courses in the country. They also serve as sales managers, building and grounds managers, owners and operators of landscape firms and other cool careers. Rutgers offers a job referral service to its students and members of the turf alumni association. Resume writing assistance is part of the turf program.

7. Where will I live?
Rutgers helps you find housing and roommates. Many lifelong friendships began by sharing apartments while at Rutgers.

8. Do I need a car?
Cars are not required, but they certainly help. If you do not have a car, we can help find roommates or car pooling partners.
